…y’all got me for 25 more days. I would say 26, but on Sunday, March 18th, I’ll be at a hotel near MEPS getting prepared for the next day…boot camp. I’m not sure about the time I’ll have to be there but I do know I’ll be there.

When I tell people that boot camp is at MCRD/Camp Pendleton they say “Oh well at least you’re here in San Diego”…yeah but I don’t think you understand. It’s the Marine Corps. No computers, no cell phones, no physical attachment to the outside world…well there are letters. On the bright side, ya boy got impeccable handwriting.

I’m excited as much as I am scared - but not scared in the sense of fear but in the sense of awe I guess…it’s like…I’ll finally be getting my future started. I messed up my college life and although it wasn’t completely, it was enough for me to choose a different path.

This is the path I have chosen.
